The human instinct to be noticed for their accomplishments, to receive validation, and find reason is the truth behind what is displayed in front of our faces and emotion. Extreme simplicity nurtures great virtue and the power of reason is able to illuminate through the bright clear light that leads a man’s steps towards pursuing personal desire. Conformity blinds the eye of truth and disguises courage, causing individuals to turn towards darkness and ultimately resulting in a lifestyle of regret and repentance. An individual must restore the pure factors of open-mindedness and acceptance in order to illuminate the courage and motivation required to pursue an individual’s hidden personal desire. Often, it takes a lifetime for individuals to simply be able to find the courage to act without shame, and seek the importance and need for achieving personal desires. A light depicting enlightenment and goals are what humans dilate their pupils to absorb. A light that shines so dimly in front of their faces that causes the human pupil to expand to capture the rays and hints of what humans want in their nature. An underlying desire and a need that humans seek in every form as long as it is with open eyes. However, with the darkness that surrounds one, it is inevitable there will be a trap and conflict where the choice to conform will be overpowering the dim light that still lays in front of our eyes but instead at our feet. A light that is used to find “an honest man” who will act corresponding to his desires, wants, and beliefs. A courageous man who will be true to himself and discover reason for every act he commits. It is often that the individual himself who is looking for this man is the one that is encompassed in his very own illusion of conformity and validation. With a light so dim and a room so dark, it’s easy to pull too hard and lose the outlet connecting to the other end of the bulb. So when it does, all that happens is the absorption of all modes of light that is consumed by the darkness and once again, one is blind. One is blind from birth, as a fetus eyes closed and until escaped from the womb are the eyes opened and welcomed by this unknown reason called light. The eyes are in prestige 20/20 vision, able to see 20 feet compared the normal human who also sees the 20 feet in front of them. Born normal like everyone else and a path so clear and bright that it is just the process of life that demands the general dimming of the light. The darkness is gradually built throughout one’s life, with age finds more tunnels and holes that capture the glowing particles radiated by one’s desires. As the darkness creeps in, the conformity is enhanced and encircled in the unseen to the human eye. With such darkness that we cannot capture, but only light that we see. The process of life starting from the beginning as a normal human naturally born from a womb since the beginning of time like every other living being, is seen as the purest form of life known to mankind. The purest form of life where personal desires are able to shine through with simplicity and without any hint of shame. As an individual grows older, he exchanges the euphoria of doing things just because of instinct for reasonable logic that others hold as well. Where the standards of being “normal” is altered to what ironically isn’t and in fact only man-made and discovered in a laboratory. It’s ironic that man seeks for the answer to truth through studying the contrast between darkness and light, but doesn’t use that light to find the answer. The “honest” answer is what man strives to achieve, to explore, and to discover, but honesty is only found where it is least looked for. It is least looked for where it has already been looked, except it is in that one section that has already been studied but forgotten about in attempt to keep up with the norms and the fast pace that conformity itself is taking place in. Exploring all possible options and discovering new ones is what mankind had always been motivated to do. Inevitably the courage required to see the dim light must be present somewhere in the conformed crowd, except it is hidden and unseen by the public eye, but in fact left for the babies who have just been born a couple seconds ago to see and laugh at. Is it questionable on why those innocent pure eyes always seem to smile, how joy and laughter is all that we see when we stare into those clear eyes that almost always seem round and full? Perhaps those are the eyes we must look for, tangled in the subtle illusion that the mature ones have created for themselves. Perhaps it is the innocent eyes that hold the most honestly which carries the truth that humans desire to find. As an individual grows older, the flaws accumulate so much that it masks the unbiased and accepting principles that humans were born with. In order to pursue personal desire, an individual must act without shame and abandon conformity, otherwise one will never be able to discover truth and light in what drives man’s motivations to live. Light resembles the path that individuals strive to find and explore, it just happens that it is seen so dimly in a world created so darkly by mankind. A tangle of paths that have been discovered and touched on but not experienced to its potential are so widely evident in the world that it acts as a weight put on by humans for themselves in what is defined as conformity. The conflict between conformity and desire is that they contradict each other entirely, limiting the potential that could have been released in a case of pure desire and courage. With open eyes and a dim light, man will forever be “normal” if he followed the first instinct created the moment he was born. Nonetheless humans are acquired with the skills needed to obtain desire and conformity is an impediment that has also been created by one which in turn prevents an individual from achieving personal desire.
One long paragraph?
